Lucy is an accredited member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) in the UK.
Acupuncture is used within physiotherapy as part of a combined approach to managing pain and inflammation. Acupuncture treatment is based on scientific research and clinical evidence.
Acupuncture uses single-use, pre-sterilised disposable needles of varying lengths, widths and materials.
A number of needles are used during a treatment session and may remain in position for up to 30 minutes before being removed.
After my first session with Lucy I came out flying! I felt loose and relaxed and my children said i looked taller. I was really impressed by how thoroughly she assessed my problem and was able to explain (great analogies!) what was going on.
I’ve had headaches from neck/shoulder pain for 20+ years, and had seen various bodywork specialists – osteopathy, quiropractic, massage, acupuncture, “mutua” physiotherapy classes – with only minor results.
Now 5 sessions later, with Lucy tailoring her many skills to my needs each session, I feel well informed and armed with loads of simple and enjoyable exercises to maintain my improved state at home.
She is also a really warm and fun woman to work with as well as being an accomplished professional. Well worth the money, I can’t recommend her highly enough.Rebecca
